The floors are now collapsing and I am stuck with a $75000.00 piece of junk!!!!

The good with the bad:

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The Good: My Camper purchase with RV Wholesalers was fantastic. Especially considering they are in Ohio and I am in Florida. When I received my Camper in Florida there were a few issues that were very quickly resolved. The Bad: My camper was initially located at a camp ground where I had it delivered on October 26th 2020.. It is a Destination Model so needed a place to keep it while I prepared my camp for it. At the campground it was hooked up to city water, sewer, and power. While packing up the camper I was outside while my a member of my family was taking a shower and notice the shower was also draining on to the ground. On April 27th 2021 I had my camper moved to my property where I had no well or water hookups. I filled the fresh water holding tank and to my surprise all the water leaked out. I contacted RV Wholesalers and they had a service provider come to my location and inspect the problem. That was April 28th 2021. The service provider stated it was too big of a job for him to repair and a larger outfit would need to perform the repairs. I contacted RV Wholesalers and informed them of what the service provider said and I had not heard back from them until I sent my 3rd follow-up email threating to take action around Nov 3rd 2021. They found another service provider who I spoke with and began to make arrangements to have them come and inspect my camper. Once I emailed the owner and a few other that I had worked with during the purchase they became very responsive. This part is very important I received an email from RV Wholesalers and they asked me to sign a docusign explaining it was just in case I failed to send some parts back that the factory asked for. The document reads: RVWholesalers is not the warranty provider for your new RV. We also do not control the factory decisions making process on your warranty. We are happy to provide replacement parts on behalf of the factory to you and will submit the invoice for the part to the factory on your behalf. If the factory decides not to reimburse us for ALL or PART of the invoice for the work we have done then you will be responsible for the amount not covered. Any part of the invoice not covered will be charged to your credit card and you will be emailed a receipt and proof of factory denial. Also if you fail to gather and return part, pictures, notes, etc. requested to ensure or enable payment you will be charged the full amount of the invoice. This is pretty scarry. Just imagine you take your new car to the dealer you purchased it from to get warranty repairs completed and they told you this same thing. Would you go back to that dealership? I know this is not a car, but it an expensive purchase and I made my decision to use RV Wholesalers not just base don their price, but based on their feedback specifically regarding warranty. I called a few local RV outfits and they we baffled by this as well. I then had an attorney review the document and I was advised now to sign it. I informed RV Wholesalers of this and this was their response: Me: Signing this document is essentially giving you a blank check. RVW: not at all and if we did we would not have a 4.6 rating on google, 5 star on customer lobby and A+ with the BBB Me: Why are you asking the customer to sign the document? many times customers do not have an issue, it is operator error. Or the part tests good at the factory so again, no issue, just operator error. This document causes the customer to double check things and get permission before getting repairs done. Today it's November 18th 2021 and my camper is still not repaired. It has been 204 days since I opened the warranty issue. The response stated "again, we would love to have helped you, we are not too busy and we love our customers." I'm sorry but this doesn't align with 204 days and no response to any communication until I threaten to call and attorney and start a lemon law case. Up until this experience I would have given them 5 stars.NoNooono

ZERO COMMUNICATION

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
If you want a company that keeps you up to date on the camper, Id advise you to look elsewhere. Weve waited almost two years now and have nothing but trouble. The salesmen NEVER keep you up to date with any information and the owner wont even have the decency to meet with or speak to you when requested. The first camper had to be sent back as it wasnt equipped or wired for an awning (who ever heard Of that?) and the second time we ordered, no one bothered to contact us to inform us that they were still back logged over a year and WERENT EVEN DOING THE FLOOR PLAN THAT WE ORDERED ANYMORE! Worst company, worst sales people, and worst business that weve ever dealt with. If you want good service or even the thought of trying to buy a camper, RUN to the next dealer and dont waste your time or money. I wish someone would have told us this before we did. HORRIBLE SERVICE, RUDE STAFF, AND ZERO COMMUNICATION.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I contacted one of the sales managers and explained the situation.

He was more than helpful in getting this resolved. RV Wholesalers refunded the amount overcharged..

Updated by user Aug 08, 2021

After communications with their legal counsel and a sales manager, they have decided to provide me a refund for the amount due. That is a step in the right direction.

Original review Aug 08, 2021
I rented a 6-person golf cart for two days. When they brought me the golf cart, it had a dead battery.

So I charged the battery, rode down to our clubhouse and the battery was dead again. This was on a Friday, so I charged the battery overnight and did the same thing. I rode to our clubhouse and by the time that I got there the battery was dead again. They would not return my phone calls, so I went to their location and talked to them.

They only had a 4-seater golf cart, they delivered that three hours later. So when they billed my credit card, they billed me for three days and for the six seater. The one with the dead battery. They said that since I used it to go to our clubhouse then it was deemed as using it and I had to pay for it even though the battery was dead.
These people are crooks and I will never deal with them again.

DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE NOT A HONORABLE COMPANY.

I've tried talking to them, and they will not return my phone calls. I guess the next step is to file a small claims against them in court.

They are dishonest

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I put $1000 down on a travel trailer. I had to argue with them to honor the internet advertised price first of all. They ended up emailing me three different prices, invoices, what ever. I couldn't get a complete itemized price list etc... The deal fell through and then when they sent me my $1,000 back, they emailed me some legal document that I did not sign, so they put a stop payment on the $1,000

Not fixing problems in the 30 day warranty

We report to the dealer that we bought the RV from the day we received it that there was a soft spot in the floor. I'm 500 miles away from the dealer, and they didn't want to help me fix it. They told me that if I could bring it back they would work on it, but I would have to pay for it. All that I would like now is someone from Forest River to call me, so maybe they can help me do it myself. I have the VIN #, I just need to have the under body floor plan, so I can see what the problem is.

Buyer Beware

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Formerly Durnell RV. Sales tactics are manipulation, intimidation, and deception. If you are in the market for a RV I recommend going somewhere else, because emails sent to you mysteriously disappear from your inbox. Especially, if they were sent from Josh Durnell. Another sales tactic of their business is not letting you look at the deal sheet without first giving them a credit card number.

We relocated from Alaska In 2016 and purchased a 2017 Columbus 5th wheel through their internet Sales that my significant other was picking up on the way to Southeast Texas. The dealership was supposed to insure all purchased options were installed and functional before leaving the dealership. We my significant other arrived in southeast Texas we had planned to live in it at an RV park for three years. We had nothing but problems from the auto leveler not leveling the trailer and hydraulic fluid leaking. I could go on and about all the problems we found, but after contacting RV Wholesalers On numerous occasions that couldnt even find anyone in our area to work on it and they shipped some items that I had to install myself. They washed their hands of us as soon as the unit left the dealership.

Owner will hang up on you after he calls you names .

They installed roof vent cover . Well it came off on the road .

They have tightened the faucet 3 times and its still not tight . Slide outs are NOT properly adjusted . Electric on Hot water heater didn't work . They wanted ME to pay for the over priced part !

It wasn't working when we got the camper . The owner hates warranty work and told me to never come back or I would receive a beat down and then he would call Sheriff and have me arrested ! Not a very good attitude for an owner ! Big turnover in help there and now I know why .

I paid thousands for an extended warranty I cant use now . Waiting to hear from the factory for repairs and to file a complaint as he has to honor the warranty .

Then I will be contacting an attorney . Run from them .

My Experience : RIP OFF ARTIST

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I was going to purchase a RV from this unprofessional company. They did not have the RV I wanted and stated that they (RV Wholesalers) would order the RV I wanted, but I would have to put a 1,000.00's down payment on that specific RV.

After I placed the 1,000.00 deposit on that particular RV, I was informed the next day (by RV Wholesalers) that the RV I wanted was discontinued, and offered a more expensive RV. I was told that I could not get a return on my 1,000.00 deposit, and they would place the deposit on a new RV of my choosing (BAIT AND SWITCH). In essence they could not produce the product that my deposit was placed for, and wanted to keep my 1,000.00. I went to my bank, explained the circumstances (couldn't produce the product/switch and bait), and my funds were returned.

Additionally, when I asked the (my opinion) THIEVES for my money back, the owner laughed and stated that I'm not getting my money back from them or the bank, as if this situation was common practice. No other RV dealer, but RV Wholesalers, asks for a nonrefundable 1,000.00 deposit. DO NOT GIVE THEM A DEPOSIT. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY.

I purchased the same RV at a cheaper price, with a different company. I will post the unprofessional e-mail conversation if necessary.

The same happened to me. I even had a sales contract with the stock number.

They sold the RV to someone else and said I called and cancelled. They kept my deposit.

1000 deposit must be industry wide...same thing happened with camping world...they NEVER explained it was a non refundable deposit...took me a week but I finally go my deposit back...NEVER go to camping world

If you don’t mind, where did you purchase your rv. I was about to call and place an order until I read your review.

They were also asking me for $1,000 deposit. Thanks for posting how they treated you.

When a seller pitches Jesus with his sales tactics, watch out. You will likely get burnt. He's using religion to induce you to trust him.
