I recently bought a 2011 Forest River Wildwood Travel Camper From Rvwholesalers, they had the best prices I could find anywhere. The only catch was that I had to buy it sight unseen,my wife and I decided to take a leap of faith because we believed that we were getting a great deal.

Our trouble started the day we were to get our camper delivered, my wife and I decided that it would be best if I took a day off of work, as we have never owned a trailer before, and had no idea how to set it up.

My wife contacted rvwholesalers by e-mail to see if they could give us a time for delivery to see if it would be worth me taking a day off of work. They respondede by e-mail that they could have at our campground by noon. We thought great, I will *** that day drive to Erie, where our campground is, set up the trailer before my wife and daughter came up.

I arrived at our campground, made arrangements with the owner to help me set it up. Twelve noon came and went, one o'clock, maybe I should call make sure everything is ok. When I call they tell me that the driver will not even be leaving until after 4P.M., and they don't know who told us that they would be there by noon. I asked to speak to a mamager, who said he could do nothing but offer an apology.

I took their apology, and made arrangements to have my trailer delivered the next day, booked a hotel room at my own expense, woke up the next day, took delivery of my camper, and tried to put the whole fiasco behind me.

The next time I even heard from anyone from rvwholesalers was when I had a problem that I thought would be simple to fix. I called to take advantage of their nationwide network of service centers. This was in the beginning of June, and they don't have a nationwide network of service centers, all they have are phone numbers of places that may service your camper, and you have to call them yourself to get your camper repaired.

It is now the end of July, and I had to go and find my own service center.

In conclusion don't ever buy from rvwholesalers, they tell you whatever you want to hear so thay can sell you something, and then you are on your own, and by the way, my family and me couldn't be happier with our Forest River Wildwood camper.

Monetary Loss: $17.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

is there anyway to get Carol to respond to my email. I started a ticket in August and yet still do not have an answer to my warranty issue.

I forwarded photo's for the second time last week 8oct12 and today still now response. So far my experience with RVWholesalers has been going quickly downhill after the sale. I was so pleased with the before and during the sale, that I was thinking that it would be the place to purchase my next RV.

However, since the after nearly two months trying to get an answer from RV Wholesalers, I am becoming very disheartened. I emailed Keystone and got a response the next day that Carol had been told to move things to the next level.

Mistake is obviously a dealer that has not figured out how to win at the sales game. We state on all of our paperwork and on all of the forums that we will resolve any and all issues that our customers have.

We have never had a customer not taken care of. All they have to do is bring the issue to our attention. Hey mistake, if you want an awesome deal on an rv let me know.

When you call in ask me about our 2500 service center private network that can get you serviced anywhere you travel or anywhere you live. Look forward to hearing from you.

I think some things here are not exactly correct. No one in the company would say the owners are out to lunch all day, and I wrote M Durnell and told him I just don't believe that was true. I would think they are just super busy and can't answer back immediately.

The owners have said on this site any problems call them, and yet no one provides an update. I think there are some places jealous of this company and it's ability to provide such incredible offers, and think they hope they can scare away customers by putting out complaints that can't easily be verified and by not providing updates after talking to the RVW owners, who WANT to make any problems right. It almost succeeded with me, but while as I said I plan to be careful, I am going to give them a full thumbs up UNTIL proved wrong, not get scared before even giving them a chance. In my area, buying locally is more expensive by thousands, and the customer service can be awful afterwards, so if you can possibly get bad service either way, why not at least save thousands off your purchase?

And it may have seemed harsh, my wanting to really make sure things will be fine upon delivery, but I would do this no matter WHO sold us the unit, it is a large purchase and it is not meant to be insulting because we don't want a lemon. I have the utmost respect for these kind people working for this company, and even if you have had a few minor problems with a company it isn't right to blast them. I fail to see how delivery problems is in any way a reflection on the quality of the unit bought, nor on the people working hard to help you buy that unit. Travel schedules are not controllable, except by the driver.Reading these complaints got my all upset and scared, but when I really got into the wording, I don't believe much of what is complained about, though some may be true it doesn't rise to the level of online blasting like I read here.

Please, people, you have problems buying TVs, do you put your problem online for that, too? I can see severe problems, not silly things like schedules not being convenient.

I worked there they do a lot of eating have you seen the size of these guys .and i watched them refuse calls all day they would say tell them to email me, it was very frustrating. because they would keep calling back.

the salespeople would see the caller id and not pick up the phone. it was hard to deal with

RVW called and answered my questions beautifully and amazingly patiently. I know they are honorable, successful dealers, willing to fix the odd problem if you just be patient, nicer, and give them a chance.I would highly HIGHLY recommend you buy online if you find someone you can trust. I did, I'm sure.

I panicked, true enough, reading these on a Sunday, when RVW had just refused to have contact minutes after the docusigning. Only have a few questions, and the only thing so far truly upset about is that I told them we just bought a truck 2 weeks earlier, so they needed to take that into account giving an interest rate.

After talking to finance guy, we got 4.75. In the docusign, you CAN'T scroll past the first few lines of the documents even the contract page, and even then it had to be resent because I couldn't scroll to make sure the finance terms were what was discussed.I only saw a few lines in scrolling and thought that was the extent of the terms page. Only AFTER signing did I get to see the entire page - including where they may want to change interest rate 30 days later. If they change mine, knowing about the truck already, then there will be a fight.BUT.Got over being angry, and want to figure that out of tons of sales there is very few complaints so am hoping to do a good business with them, and for the 5th wheel in the next few years.I plan, though, to have an rv mechanic here to go over the trailer, and inspect and try everything out, because I will not sign for one in bad condition.

"A" unit coming, in bad shape, is not legally "our" ordered one, since we didn't order a badly made one, or one damaged inside or out.I expect professionals to inspect before shipping, find any problems AND FIX THEM, before shipping, because I can't understand how you would find those problems and still sign making the problems yours now.Forest River doesn't make damaged new trailers, and building it new means not building a damaged one. If interior is damaged, clearly left off papers as covered, only exterior is covered if driver did it, then I would file a vasndalism report, the heck with the who's fault is it dance.I have no problem sending back one not ours because of damage or missing items or not working, and would get a lawyer if needed if I had to pay more than one way back.I am going to give them my trust, right now, but am on guard IF problems come up.

Sometimes things slip thru the cracks, and as they wrote here, they do seem to want to fix things with even online customers, so please let them have that chance, and at lease write back if things got corrected. I want to give them an awesome review so badly!Got at least one outright lie during order, but not a serious one.No one is perfect :)Will update once things progress.

warranty and customer service are non-existent.

once they have your money you are nothing to them.

I have had my new fifth wheel for 10 months. I have had warranty issues since the day it was delivered, If a pdi was done (as was claimed)it was done at the lounge. the power awning would not work (blew fuses every time), rubber seal on slide out was just hanging there, fuel station ppump didn't work, ceiling fan didn't work, light bulbs missing--all things that should have been caught during the pdi. It took six months to get warranty approval to fix the issues (only half were approved)I had to pay the bill upfront and submit the bill to rvwholesalers to be re-imbursed, I was told it would only take a couple days.

I finally got in contact with them six weeks later only to be told it will be processed next week. I now have brake and electrical issues that nobody wants to deal with. As it is now this "incredibly priced" trailer has cost me much more money (and frustration)than it would have at my local dealer.

I will never buy from them again. If anyone does buy from them DON'T do it sight unseen, don't put down any deposit until you are satisfied with the unit and pick up directly from them, don't have it delivered to you.

I bought from them last oct 2011 we had a torn awning when the 5th wheel arrived they promised to fix it just gives us a run around I have tried to speak to the owners but I was told that they DO NOT TALK TO BUYERS PERIOD I have to tell everyone WANRING WARNING WARNING DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!! SAY THEY WILL TALK TO YOU, A LIE I was told by warrenty dept.managerTheir TO LUNCH FROM 8AM TILL 6PM IS WHAT I WAS TOLD THEY HAVE BEEN PAID WHAT SO THEY CARE!!!!!

Guest

They are a bunch of liars and just wanted to get there $1,000 deposit. They told me I couldnt get options on a trailer I was interested in.

After I talked to the manufacturer I was told that they were giving me the wrong information.

Anything for a sale. Shame on them!

Guest

If any of this were true, why would you have not contacted me or the other owner of RVW? You sign a sheet stating when you have an issue that is not resolved immediately that you will.

Why not let us take care of you?

Doesn't make sense to have an issue for eight months when we have a full time warranty department and the nationwide service network. If you are a customer, and it seems unlikely at this point, contact me and we will get things resolved.
